چکیده

A sixfold interpenetrated microporous MOF has been constructed from a heterometallic tetranuclear cluster. The framework contains two types of 1D micro-channels along different directions. Moreover, this compound exhibits high selective gas sorption for H(2) over N(2).

Why Porous Materials Have Selective Adsorptions: A Rational Aspect from Electrodynamics.

Gas storage/separation is a typical application of porous materials such as metal organic frameworks (MOFs). The adsorption/separation behavior results from the host-guest and/or guest-guest interaction and equilibration (host, porous material; guest, adsorbates). Although the driving forces for gas adsorption have been investigated, a detailed picture of interactions between gas molecules and ...

A robust highly interpenetrated metal-organic framework constructed from pentanuclear clusters for selective sorption of gas molecules.

A three-dimensional microporous metal-organic framework, Zn(5)(BTA)(6)(TDA)(2)·15DMF·8H(2)O (1; HBTA = 1,2,3-benzenetriazole; H(2)TDA = thiophene-2,5-dicarboxylic acid), comprising pentanuclear [Zn(5)] cluster units, was obtained through an one-pot solvothermal reaction of Zn(NO(3))(2), 1,2,3-benzenetriazole, and thiophene-2,5-dicarboxylate. The activated 1 displays type-I N(2) gas sorption beh...

Two microporous MOFs constructed from different metal cluster SBUs for selective gas adsorption.

Two microporous MOFs have been constructed from different metal cluster SBUs. Both of them exhibit highly selective CO2 adsorption capacity over CH4 and N2 owing to their abundant active sites.

An amine/imine functionalized microporous MOF as a new fluorescent probe exhibiting selective sensing of Fe3+ and Al3+ over mixed metal ions

Nowadays metal-organic frameworks with multiple luminescent centers are very fascinating as multifunctional luminescent material because of their luminescence properties, which could be systematically tuned by deliberate use of organic ligands and metal ions. In this research, we explored a microporous mixed-ligand MOF for highly selective and sensitive detection of metal ions. A two-fold inter...

Microporous lanthanide metal-organic frameworks containing coordinatively linked interpenetration: syntheses, gas adsorption studies, thermal stability analysis, and photoluminescence investigation.

Under solvothermal conditions, the reactions of trigonal-planar ligand, TATB (4,4',4''-s-triazine-2,4,6-triyl-tribenzoate) with Dy(NO(3))(3), Er(NO(3))(3), Y(NO(3))(3), Yb(NO(3))(3), gave rise to four microporous lanthanide metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), designated as PCN-17 (Dy), PCN-17 (Er), PCN-17 (Y), and PCN-17 (Yb), respectively. The four porous MOFs are isostructural, with their crysta...
